Gulf oil spill solutions not being used

The Book of Revelation tells us:

8:8 The second angel sounded, and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea. One third of the sea became blood, 8:9 and one third of the living creatures which were in the sea died. One third of the ships were destroyed.

Biblical prophecy is coming true with the amount of sea birds, fish, whales and marine life that have already lost their lives and are gone. I have read that an albatross dies every five minutes and that 18 of the 22 species known are now endangered with extinction.

In the area of the Gulf of Mexico, due to the Deepwater Horizon spill, it looks very likely that many species such as the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna will die out. They do not breed anywhere else apart from the Mediterranean Sea and the habitat of this already critically endangered species is now ruined.

We have all seen news reports about the ongoing disaster of the Gulf oil spill and one thing seems certain we are not being told the truth about it. Many people are unaware of how long-lasting the damage caused by this is and how widespread the death and destruction will be.

But what is even worse than all of that is that there are workable solutions that are not being put into practice while the situation continues to worsen. The obvious question is why are these methods not being used?

Many people are asking why President Barack Obama has not done a lot more than he has done so far? Many are asking why BP have made such a very poor job of doing anything much about the oil that is spilling out in tons?

People who live in the most immediately affected areas like Louisiana are demanding that something is done now. The beaches, the marshland and the livelihoods of people who depend on the sea are al ready ruined. The oil getting washed up kills.

Of course it is a major concern that the oil will find its way into the Gulf Stream and end up being carried into the oceans of the world. It will not be confined to the area of the Gulf of Mexico. Why is this being allowed to happen?

Corexit

Instead of using workable and environmentally friendly methods to deal with the disaster the toxic dispersant Corexit has been used, and many people would rightly claim that this has made a very bad situation worse. It does nothing to get rid of the oil pollution but simply breaks it up into small particles which are just as deadly to sea creatures. Corexit has been banned in the UK.

Monsanto

The dispersant itself will kill others the oil missed, although Nalco the chemical company that makes it claim otherwise. They say it is biodegradeable and safe. Chemical giant Monsanto that has given us Agent Orange, Bovine Growth Hormone, aspartame and genetically engineered crops have always claimed that their products are safe and too!

But even if Nalco are telling the truth there are much better ways of dealing with the problem. In Saudi Arabia in a past oil spill it was shown that the oil and water could be vacuumed out of the ocean.

Another method that is safe is to use microbes that break down the oil and then die out themselves having nothing more to feed on. Again this method has been demonstrated in the past to work and was used by the Land Office of Texas.

It has been suggested that straw could be used to soak up the oil as another method to stop the disaster worsening.

Louisiana Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser has spoken out in frustration and anger after finding that all his efforts to get something done were blocked by red tape and refusals. He wanted to take the matter into the hands of local people and do what they can about it at their own cost but has been threatened that he will be breaking the law if he does so.

Conspiracy theorists

Some conspiracy theorists and ordinary local people too have put forward the idea that the entire problem has been deliberately engineered. One idea that has been put forward is that BP are trying to deliberately destroy all life on the Louisiana marshes so they can then get the land rights there and the wealth of the oil reserves below the ground.

It has also been suggested by Henning Kemner that it is not an oil well that is leaking into the ocean but an underseas volcano that has been drilled into. The evidence for this being given is that the footage of much of what has been called oil spill shows a colour inconsistent with it being crude oil.

I live a long way from the Gulf of Mexico but this oil spill has played on my mind a lot over the past few weeks. It really depresses me to picture the reality of what has happened and will happen in future. This is a severe wound to life on Earth.
