My women friends born under the sign of Leo

I have enough proof in my life that astrology really works and that the advice it gives about star sign characteristics and which ones are the most compatible with other signs of the zodiac is often correct. I say this because as a man born under the sign of Aries the Ram it is said that I am very compatible with people born under the sign of Leo the Lion, which is another fire sign and is from July 23 to August 23.

Now it just happens that without any conscious effort on my part to befriend people born in Leo, I nevertheless have a lot of women friends who are born under the zodiac sign of the Lion, significantly so, I think.

One woman I keep at the top of my Myspace friends is Karen Lyster. Karen is a UFO contactee and experiencer and a very dedicated researcher, who regularly posts about ufology, conspiracies and the paranormal. Sharing interests and experience in these fields it is not surprising I get on so well with Karen and she is born under Leo.

In the late '90s I was in college studying media and came away with a BTEC National Diploma in Media Studies and two A-Levels with A grades in Film Studies and Media Studies. It was at this point in time I became very good friends with Rhiannon McHugh, who now goes under the name of Miss Minky at Myspace, where you will find her in my top friends.

Rhiannon and I usually sat together in class and if she was absent the tutor would often ask me if I knew where she was. Rhiannon used to work in a shop in town and I always used to pop in, not to buy anything, but to see her. Rhiannon is born under the sign of Leo.

I used to frequent a message board for Goths known as Necrotic Obsession, not because I am a Goth but because I get on very well with people who regard themselves this way. It was there that I met Pyretta Blaze, whose real name is Stacey Smith. She has since that time become known as Sweater Queen and I have a hub all about her in that role. Stacey is another woman born under the sign of Leo.

The only time I have managed to be able to leave this island for a holiday was in 2007 when Lindy Miller, who posts as Moondancer at Myspace came over to Tenerife and stayed in my apartment looking after my cats. Although we don't agree on everything, Lindy and I have many similarities and have become very good friends, and yes, you've guessed - she is another born under the star sign of Leo.

Recently I was contacted at Myspace by a young woman called Lidia Guevara from Barcelona in Spain. Lidia is a singer-songwriter like myself and I went to check out her songs. I was instantly hooked and became a fan. I have published two hubs about her.

I didn't know when I first went to Lidia's site and she made such an instant hit with me that she is another born under Leo.

I make that point to show that I am not looking for people born under the sign of Leo consciously and neither do I know what sign they are when we first meet.

With my own birthsign of Aries, I am sometimes able to spot another Ram straight away. I did this with King Arthur Pendragon, whom after just one letter from him I wrote back asking if by any chance he was born under the sign of Aries. And I was right because he is.

I live with a cat called Tiggy. I don't know when she was born but it wouldn't surprise me if she is a Leo too!
