Why do you like slips so much?
Slips are just an exciting, seductive garment to wear and even more so to make. To fit the most secret parts of a womans body, to celebrate her beauty and make her feel special, it's wonderful. Women are amazing!!
What other lingerie do you enjoy?
While slip making is my passion, I love all lingerie. Frequenting the many retail sores and lingerie boutiques gives me a chance to keep up with the latest styles and endless selection. From the latest in shape wear to bras and panties that come in a variety of styles, colors and fabric technology. Also day wear and nightwear but very few slips. I find it all beautiful.
What do you think causes people to find slips so sexy and attractive?
Slips are an emotional garment. One that touches your secret thoughts and passions, moods and senses but most of all your emotions.
What would you say makes an ideal slip?
One that fits and caresses the body. Makes you feel glamorous, sexy and in every sense a woman!
Do you ever think slips can become fashionable again and what is needed for them to do so?
Slips are still fashionable to women who truly love wearing them and feel they are an necessity in their wardrobe. After all that is what fashion is. What you love wearing and feel good about. Women have become liberated. Slips have become a garment of choice.
Anything else you would like to share?
Slips are the only garment that truly celebrates women and I love the art of making exquisite custom handmade slips. It's what I call a "lustful" art. It ignites my imagination and I never seem to get enough.!

Thanks for your comments, Gypsy Willow! Well, yes, a lot of women no longer wear slips and they are not as widely available as they used to be but this has caused many people to search for them at specialist sites that sell them, on eBay and Amazon and in charity shops. Knowing that many people do want top quality slips some people like Constance are also designing and making them. Basically the call for slips is very much there but it is not being catered for by clothing manufacturers as it once was.
Slips are sexy. I dig 'em.

Nice hub!!! I have never given slips such thought, now I will :-). I remember my mother always wearing one under her dress (she was a 1950's/60's mom). The one thing that really stands out though, is she ALWAYS had a St. Christopher or cross pinned (with a safety pin) to her strap!!! I guess she thought she was safe from all evil that way...lol!!! (ah, being raised Catholic...oh my, that's a hub right there!!!! lol)

The slip is the most sexy and alluring articles of lingerie that exists. Seeing the lace of a slip escape from under a ladies dress is very sexy and I wish more women wore them.
I also wear a slip and love the feeling of the material against my skin and body. If more women knew this about slips, more would wear them.

If it makes a woman feel good that's fine but I tell my wife not to buy something because I think it looks sexy because it wouldn't be on her long enough to be admired.
